How much does a tattoo cost?

The cost of a tattoo can vary greatly depending on various factors such as the artist, size, detail of the design, and location on the body. On average, tattoos may start at a minimum of $250, but the final price can be impacted by these additional elements.

Some artists may have a minimum billing rate, which can vary. It is always best to discuss the cost with the artist before getting a tattoo to ensure that you are aware of the total cost and any potential added fees.

How can I get a price quote?

To get a price quote for your desired tattoo, the best option is to use the enquiry form. Once the enquiry has come through, we will select the best artist that matches your needs and start the consultation phase. During this consultation phase, the artist will consider the subject, size, placement, detail, and other factors to give you an accurate price range.

If you prefer, you can also visit the shop and speak with an artist in person to discuss your tattoo and get a quote. The artist will be happy to provide all the necessary information to help you make an informed decision.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

The healing process for a tattoo typically takes about two weeks, during which time the tattoo will scab over and form a protective layer. It is important to follow the aftercare instructions provided by your artist to ensure proper healing.

However, it can take several months for the skin to fully regenerate and for the tattoo to fully settle into the skin. During this time, it is important to continue caring for the tattoo and avoiding activities that may cause irritation or damage to the skin.

Overall, the length of the healing process can vary depending on the individual and the specific tattoo.

What forms of payment are accepted?

At our tattoo shop, we accept cash or credit cards (with a 3% surcharge). Please be prepared to make payment in one of these forms upon completion of your tattoo. If you have any questions or concerns about payment, do not hesitate to contact us in advance of your appointment. We are happy to help ensure that you have a smooth and stress-free tattoo experience.

How should I prepare for my tattoo?

To prepare for your tattoo, we recommend that you eat a meal and stay hydrated before your appointment. It is important to avoid coming in on an empty stomach, as this can increase your risk of feeling dizzy or lightheaded during the tattoo process.

If you start to feel woozy, a soda or other sugary drink can help to stabilise your blood sugar levels. We also recommend avoiding alcohol the night before your tattoo, as alcohol can increase bleeding and affect the appearance and healing of the tattoo.

Remember to stay calm and relaxed, and trust that you are in good hands with our skilled artists. Getting a tattoo can be an exciting experience, and it is important to stay positive and focused throughout the process.

Do you take walk-ins?

Yes, we welcome walk-ins, but it's always helpful to give us a quick call beforehand so that we can ensure we have availability and give you an estimated wait time. This helps us better serve all of our clients and ensures that you have the best possible experience with us. Thank you for considering us!

What’s your cancellation policy?

We understand that life can be unpredictable and things may come up that prevent you from being able to make it to your appointment. That's why we offer our clients the opportunity to reschedule their appointment once, as long as you let us know at least 14 days in advance. We do ask that you understand that our schedule fills up quickly, so we have limited flexibility when it comes to rescheduling.

If you need to reschedule more than once, or if you need to cancel your appointment, the initial deposit will need to be repaid in order to secure the next available booking. We also ask that you please be considerate and let us know as soon as possible if you are unable to make it to your appointment, as no-shows will forfeit the deposit. Thank you for understanding our cancellation policy.
